England bowling coach, David Saker, hopeful of Stuart Broad’s comeback in Test series against Sri Lanka – Cricket News Update
David Saker, the English bowling coach, is confident pacer Stuart Broad’s skills and hopes that the bowler will soon regain his lost momentum.
During the initial two days of the 3rd npower Test at http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Rose-c86842 Bowl, Broad did not take any wicket, despite conceding 50 runs.
Broad was not impressive in the first two Test games either. He had figures of 4/134 in the Cardiff Test and 2/154 in the Lord’s game.
However, Saker said, “Sometimes when you're looking for wickets you do change your lengths a bit too much instead of banging away at an area. But as a bowling coach, I'm really http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Arthur-Percival-Day-c45927 with the way he's going.”
He further elaborated, “He's been dreadfully unlucky, and it's only a matter of time before he turns it around."
The bowling coach argued that though the pacer is not taking wickets as is expected of him, he has a good line and length.
Before the start of the ongoing Test, the English Test skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/AJ-Strauss-c964, also hoped that Broad would make impact.
“We always want our bowlers to be taking a lot of wickets, so in that sense it is. But he has done a lot of good things - he has passed the bat a lot,” Strauss had stated.
Broad has recently been appointed as skipper of England’s T20 squad.
The 24-year-old pacer has 36 Tests, 76 ODIs and 29 T20Is to his credit. He made his international debut in 2006 and has since bagged 105 Test, 130 ODI and 35 T20I wickets.

At the end of the 2nd rain-hit day, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 struggled to 177 for the loss of 9 wickets.
Saker opined that Broad’s aggressive attack is enough for the English even if he does not take wickets.
