England brings back Ian Bell
England has handed a re-call to batsman Ian Bell for the remainder of the one-day international series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755.
Bell has been in fine form and scored a brilliant 107 as he helped http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Warwickshire-c862 win the domestic 40-over competition against Somerset over the weekend. He could replace a number of players in the current
England team.
Bell started the summer with a place in the England squad for all forms of cricket. However, he suffered a broken foot in a one-day game against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bangladesh-c747 and has only just recovered full fitness.

Bell said: "When I did the injury the England guys and the specialists erred on the side of safety.
The surgeon suggested eight weeks off. I probably could have played after seven but was it worth risking ahead of Australia? Probably not."
A quality player
Bell is one of the most in form players in English cricket. He played a huge role at the back end of Warwickshire's season, scoring centuries in limited overs cricket and the four-day game. There has never
been a better time to bring him back into the team.
Bell looks hungrier to do well than he has ever been. It's important he gets back in the England side and settles down before travelling to a hostile environment in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746. His exit from the side earlier
in the summer was unfortunate and he'll be looking to make up for lost time.
Bell is technically a gifted player with very few flaws. He is versatile and can play in a number of different ways. This makes him ideal to play in the middle of the England batting line up.
He added: "Hats off to the ECB, the physio Kirk http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Russell-c87177 and Nick Pierce, the doctor, they got it right in terms
of giving me enough time but also getting some cricket under my belt."
Betting advice
Bell will be a great bet to score a hundred against Pakistan if he features in the remainder of the one-day international series. A long-term bet could be for him to be
top scorer for England in Australia.
