The Twenty20 series between England and Pakistan has got a lot more interesting, after the tourists defeated the Men in Green in the second T20I match by 38 runs. With the win, England have come on level terms with Pakistan, and now it is all to play for
in the third and final T20 match, which will be played on Monday, February 27 at Abu Dhabi.
The game which was played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Saturday, February 25, 2012 saw England successfully defend a total of 150 runs. Jonny Bairstow starred with the bat for England. The right-handed batsman played an unbeaten knock of
60 runs from 46 deliveries. Bairstow’s dazzling performance won him the man of the match award.
English skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SCJ-Broad-c2465, was full of praise for his side with a special mention going to Bairstow. Broad is ascertained that Bairstow has a sparkling future lying in front of him.
The lanky pacer at the match presentation said, “Bairstow batted well. Bairstow has an exciting future up ahead. We wanted to set a good platform with the bat and 150 was a challenging score. We worked well as a team. The bowlers started off well and we
knew we were in the game. Swann was awesome with the ball. We showed more energy on the field. The wicket did not deteriorate much and we picked up wickets at the right time.”
Pakistan’s fragile batting line-up was once again exposed as they were bundled out for just 112 inside 19 overs.

and scored 21 from 15 deliveries, however, the youngster could not hang long enough to see his side through.
Broad admitted that he was a bit nervous while Afridi was at the crease. He said, “I was a bit worried when Afridi was there but we hung in there.”
