“I firmly believe the team with the better batting will clinch the series,” Akram said in an interview with ESPNSTAR on the eve of the first Test. “Both teams have the experience to handle panic situations and that will make the series more interesting. And if the warm-up games are anything to go by, England have showed the gumption of taking the fight into the Indian camp,” the veteran seamer added further.

However, the former Pakistan pacer believes the current England squad is a force to reckon with and it would be quite difficult to beat them. Though Akram did not predict a scoreline for the four-match Test series between India and England, he strongly doubted a 4-0 win for the hosts.

“England, of course, will be heavily relying on Swann, who has been in tremendous form,” said the veteran seamer. “Having bagged 192 wickets in 46 Tests, the off-spinner doesn't have the 'doosra' but his variation with pace is tremendous. He will be a big threat to the Indian batsmen,” Akram went on to add.
The four-match Test series between http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 in August. The hosts on the other hand will have a chance to improve their ranking, from fifth to third, if they manage to win the series with a 3-1 margin.
