England manager Fabio Capello certain that Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere will be captain of national side
England’s Italian manager, Fabio Capello has gone on to state that he is positive that Jack Wilshere will one day be captain of the England International side.
So far the 19-year-old midfielder has managed to make only two appearances for the senior national team, but has managed to impress almost everyone during those outings. The player has managed to show maturity, class and talent well beyond his years and
Capello, for one, has become a fan of the player.
When talking about Wilshere, Capello is reported to have said, "He will be England captain one day."
"I remember two defenders, Paolo Maldini and Franco Baresi, and one attacker, Raul, who was 19 at Real Madrid, but for personality and confidence on the pitch, he is the best young midfielder I have seen for his age." added the England manager.
This isn’t the first time that the manager has come out and praised the English midfielder and it certainly won’t be the last. Wilshere has quite simply been phenomenal so far this season. Despite having gotten his break into the Arsenal squad by mere coincidence
in the first place, the youngster has gone on to establish himself as a first team regular and he has done that with only his hard work and talent.
So far this season, the midfielder has managed to make a whopping thirty eight appearances for the Gunners and has picked up two goals along with eight assists. Wilshere has the ability to play as both a holding and a creative midfielder, which makes him
all the more valuable to a team he is a part of.
Apart from that, the player seems to have picked something up from club captain Cesc Fabregas, as his behaviour on the pitch has almost been perfect. The player hardly ever gets into an argument with a referee and is almost always present to help calm his
teammates down and to break up a tussle, something the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 manager has noticed too.
"http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Denmark-c2884] and how he spoke to the other players. It is difficult to find someone so young with such a big personality." said Capello.
At the moment it would be best for Wilshere to focus on tapping and honing his skills to the best of his abilities and then perhaps four to five years down the line, he just might lead the English national team out as their skipper.
