England must learn to play quality spinners, says Graeme Swann – Cricket News Update
The English off-spinner, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/GP-Swann-c1501 has emphasised that the English batsmen need to learn to play quality spin bowling if they want to retain and maintain their number one position in the International Cricket Council Test rankings. He also added that
he was extremely disappointed with the performance of the English batsmen.

Cricket analysts all around the world are slamming the performance of the English team and feel that England does not deserve to be called the best Test team of the world. English team took a long time off after the series against India, and some former

However, Swann dismissed all such claims and said that it was only the lack of ability of the English batsmen to deliver the goods against spin bowling that led to defeat.  
Swann said, “People are blaming our 3-0 defeat against Pakistan on all sorts of things - ranging from our two-month break before Christmas to complacency after reaching the top of the world rankings. To me, they are just excuses.”
The off-spinner stated that the current English team wants to become one of the greatest teams in the history of the game but feels that it is only going to happen if the English players can learn to play good spinners. He admitted that the English team
was outplayed by the Pakistani bowlers.
"Our stated ambition is to be acknowledged as one of the best teams ever - alongside the Windies of the 1980s and the Aussies of the 1990s and 2000s. We want to leave a legacy of excellence. But that isn't going to happen unless we learn to cope better with
