Australian all-rounder, Shane http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Watson-c96326 has said that apart from Stuart Broad, current English pacers will struggle in Australia.
Watson said that Broad is the poses the biggest threat to Australians and James Anderson and Steven Finn will be having a tough time downunder.
He added that Stuart Broad has all the potential in the world to adapt to the pace and bounce that the Australian pitches offer.
The conditions in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 will be totally different from the ones they have in Britain where the ball swings a lot. Downunder, the ball does not swing in the air, except for the swing early on. In addition, the kookaburra ball is lighter and has a low
seam so when it gets old, the red cherry does not move much.
Four years ago, when England suffered 5-0 hammering at the hands of Australia downunder, Anderson took 5 wickets in 3 Test matches at an average of 82.
This year around though, winner of ICC Emerging Player of the Year, Steven Finn is the one to watch out for. In 8 matches Finn has taken 32 wickets and looks promising. But he will be up against one of the strongest batting lines in the world in challenging
bowling conditions.
Stuart uses his height to good effect and hits the deck hard and will surely trouble the Aussie batsmen in their backyard.
England are in Australia where the first Ashes Test gets underway on November 25 in Brisbane.
It will be of a great interest to see how well the touring team can apply themselves on their tour downunder.
This is the best chance for tourists to win their first ever series in the land of Kangaroos, since 1987.
