Are England going to miss out on the euro 08, the rugby world cup final and the F1?

What do you think? I think/hope Hamilton will win but for the rest it would be a miracle...

  1. England will win just wait & see.

  2. Well we might as well forget going to the Euros. They p1ssed that chance up the wall last night.

Even if Lewis doesnt win the f1 crown this year, lets not forget its his rookie year. And surely it will then be a case of when he will win one and how many will he get in his career. The guy has talent to burn and has made Alonso et al look stupid this year.

As for the rugby. Even if we lose on Saturday. This world cup has put English rugby back on the map. We came to the tournament a joke, on the back of 4 years worth of inept displays and an indifferent 6 nations campaign. Now here we are in the final having beaten 2 of the best teams in the world in knockout stages to get here.

Nah. Even if we lose the rugby and Lewis chokes at the final hurdle. English sport is very much back on the up.

Apart from the football, in which we have been shite for a very long time!

  3. England aren't in the F1! Amazing, what a stupid question!

Sure - gonna miss out on the Euro 08, lose the WC final and probably flood again this year!

  4. Dont forget failing in the Ashes and getting wasted in the rugby league world cup too. Grim times ahead for mother England

  5. Euro 08 they will miss out they don't have any control over that, Rugby definitely the boks will give them a good hiding they just don't know how to loose, Hamilton will have to wait and see.

  6. Can we exclude 'Plebball' & driving a car from these discussions? I'm not sure if these are even sports?

As for the Rugby, England have already 'won' to some extent.

Vast majority of England fans were worried that the Group stages would prove too difficult. Therefore to have won the last 2 matches has been fantastic for a team of mediocre players. Come win or Lose, England will be celebrating reaching the final.

I'm almost certain that SA will win which would probably be fair given their skill, consistency etc. As long as England don't suffer another thrashing, they can hold their heads up high on Saturday. The other 18 teams in the RWC would give a lot to be in the final, so England should celebrate their acheivements. They should also salute SA (assuming they win) as Champions and take the loss  with grace & honour (as did the French but not some others!!).

  7. Well my point of viefrom the Rugby side of things is, NO. From all the shouting i have done this world cup my voice has took some punishment, but thankfully it will be fine for another shouting match with the tv on saterday.

From the begining of the cup we were wrote off, and thought not to stand a chance.

Watching our first 2 matches i did not think we would last long,

what the h**l do i know thoug,, were in the final.

England have got there heads together, they have a game plan and there playing some great diffence.

A GOOD OFFENCE IS THE BEST DEFFENCE,

Sat is by all means going to be no walk in the park for us and were going to have to play the best game yet,, Africa is a strong team with some of the best players in this cup, but on the other hand we also have as well.

With out a dout there going to put the preasure on Willkie and it would not supprise me if they try to take him out the game.

But thats enough of me rabbling on, if they play with the harts of Lions then they can win this. England will prevale.
