Australia’s one-day and Test captain, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MJ-Clarke-c1978, feels the upcoming one-day tour of England will give the young Aussie players valuable experience of English conditions ahead of the 2013 Ashes series, scheduled to be held there.
He however, made it clear that regaining the urn would not be on his players’ minds, when playing the Ashes rivals in the five-match One Day International series, starting at Lord’s on June 29.

"It is important they get some cricket in English conditions," Clarke said of his young bowlers before the one-day squad's departure on Thursday.
"The Ashes is a long way from my mind right now. But any opportunity you get to play in the same conditions as you're going to play in 12 or 15 months' time can only be good for a team,” he insisted.
Australia’s one-day squad, under Michael Clarke’s headship, left for England on Thursday for the five-match ODI series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ireland-c751 in a one-off One Day International
before the England series, on June 23.
The Australia A team is also scheduled to tour http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 in July and August, to play English counties in two three-day and two four-day games.

 “I think a lot of guys involved in this one-day squad have a big chance of being part of the Ashes team in 12 months' time,” said the Australian skipper. “I think it's really important we get as accustomed to those conditions as
we can and have some success over there," he added.
