England v India – 4th Test – 4th Day’s Summary
After ending the third day by posting 103 runs on the board for the loss of five wickets in response to England’s first innings tally of 591 runs, the Indian batsmen http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MS-Dhoni-c2028 started the proceedings on the fourth day
aiming to bolster enough runs on the board to leave the hosts humbled.

At lunch, India managed to post 218 runs on the board for the loss of six wickets with Dravid on 109 and Mishra on 38 runs. The session before lunch was clearly in India’s favour as the tourists had managed to put hold on the English bowling rampage, avoiding
the loss of too many wickets.

India now have an uphill task on the final day of the Test as they require to overcome a tally of 162 runs and bat throughout the day to avoid a defeat in the series finale at Kennington Oval, London.
