England v India - Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni admits his side lacks quality fielders
After failing to avert another loss by the hands of England in the ongoing four-match Test series, the Indian skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MS-Dhoni-c2028 while speaking after his side’s demise in the third Test at Edgbaston, Birmingham admitted that the current Indian
squad lacks quality fielders which was one of the reasons behind the poor show by tourists in the three Test matches.
"We need to see what limitations we have. A few of our players are not great fielders and we're not the best looking fielding side in the world.” Dhoni said.
On Saturday, India suffered an embarrassing defeat of an innings and 242 runs in the third Test against England which dethroned them from the number one spot in Test cricket. India have had an extremely disappointing English tour as they are down 3-0 in
the ongoing Test series.
However, speaking on losing the number one title the Indian skipper said, “Being No. 1 or not being No. 1 is not important, it's all about being consistent. I've been quite happy with the preparation but it's one of those series where nothing has really
clicked for us."
Nonetheless, Dhoni praised his side for the effort they put in the series, the 30-year-old Dhoni admitted that while playing for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750, it is expected by them to win every time which is not possible.
The wicketkeeper/batsman reiterated that the Indian team were proud of their batting and bowling.

The series had gained hype before the first Test due to England’s chance of grabbing the top spot by winning the series while on the other hand, everyone was eagerly anticipating Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar’s 100th century, a feat that no
batsman has achieved so far.
Nonetheless, after the first Test, the focus shifted from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Chinnadupargea-Sachin-c50607’s century to saving the number one spot as England revealed their intentions after winning the Lord’s Test by 196 runs. Then in the second Test India hit rock bottom as the hosts won the game
by 319 runs at Trent Bridge, Nottingham.
India will now face England in the fourth Test at the Oval beginning from 18 August, 2011.
