England v Sri Lanka: 2nd Test - Rain delays play on Day 4
Rain has delayed the start of play on the fourth day of the ongoing second Test between Sri Lanka and England, at Lord’s Cricket Ground. It has been drizzling since morning and the conditions are currently not suitable for play.
The covers are on and the ground’s staff is working extremely hard to ensure minimum possible damage.
The Lord’s stadium witnessed a heavy shower for the entire second half of the third day.
The Lankan team ended their third day at a score of 372/3 after 102.2 overs, 114 behind http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013’s 486.
While http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Thilan-Thusara-Samaraweera-c93199, was at the crease with an individual score of one.

After Dilshan’s exit, the English pacemen continued to make the ball talk, disturbing Jayawardene and Samaraweera by fine swing bowling. It was a fine contest between bat and ball but the rain spoiled the party and forced players to walk towards the pavilion.
