In the first innings and the second, he bowled very straight, a good length and got the rewards for that. He chipped in with the bat as well. He is a good all-round cricketer and he certainly showed his worth.”

However, Bresnan gave a solid reply to any doubters by bagging the Player of the Match award.
England has taken an unassailable lead of two games to nil with the nine-wicket win at Trent Bridge. However, the English team did not simply roll over their opponenhttp://www.senore.com/Cricket/Thomas-George-Burrows-c93472s as they had expected and had to work hard for their victory.
Strauss praised the West Indies, who fought neck-to-neck with the number one Test team in their home conditions.

But you’ve got to give credit to the opposition. Credit to them. They’ve stuck at it very well.”
Strauss also urged his men to keep on the winning path and complete a series clean sweep. The third match will start from Thursday, June 7 and will be played at Edgbaston, Birmingham.
