England win 32-18 against France in warm-up match: Rugby League

England bagged a thumping 32-18 victory against the French side in their warm-up match at Parc des Sports in Avignon on Saturday, October 22.
This was the second consecutive defeat for the French side against the English. Seven days ago the England Knights had sent the France home with similar results of 38-18.
Although the French squad may not have vastly benefitted from clash, it speaks an entirely different story for England, as they have delivered their best to paint a pretty first impression at the very start of the Four Nations tournament. Saturday’s clash
would not have been this commendable without the valuable addition from English players such as Jack Reed, Rangi Chase and Chris Heighington.
Chase recently won the Man of the Steel title and has further added to his trophy chest afte the match with his man-of-the-match performance which played a huge role in the Saturday nights win by Steve McNamara’s squad.

England was in full form, featuring the distinguished contributions of Kevin Sinfield, Gareth Ellis and James Roby.
The props matched up the team's previous records and were nonetheless important ingredients in the much celebrated win. Kirk Yeaman made an impressive comeback which is worth mentioning too.
It would be wrong to say that the there was no resistance from the French side, as they were continuously seen dampening the precedence set forth in the early half of the game by their much stronger opponents. Towards the end of the first half of the fixture,
three tries were scored by the English side with Chase playing a crucial role.
From that point onwards the English side had no going back, they took every opportunity until it was translated into scores for their side. Sinfield played the full game and was a major try scorer with assistance from James Graham and Jamie Peacock and Cyril
Stacul’s quarters. The best try of the showdown has been accredited to Sinfield, which he made just before the end of the first half.
England not only proved their strength over their French contenders, but also made it difficult for the other side to fight their way back into the game.
