  1. Yes, I love England! =]

  2. As an honorable Australian ,it would be my honor, nay, privellage to fight for my nation.Even if it is an 'illegal' war,a soldier's job is to fight and not to decide who their enemies are.Soldiers follow orders and are to be honored for their bravery and heroism even if the war is against the wishes of many. There is only one circumstance in which i shall accept execution over martyrdom-and that is in the case of attacking and making war on one's own people.

PS.Some people have misinterpreted the question.By 'the Queen' the asker refers to the fact that the queen is the embodiment of the people as a whole and symbol of national unity-by fighting for 'her' we are fighting for our people.

  3. Been there done that already.............I survived!!!!!!

  4. No, I'm English, but refuse to recognise old Liz as being in any way higher than me, and I'm not into fighting for outmoded abstract concepts.

  5. If I thought my efforts would help preserve my country from invasion or domination, I would.  If it's about bullying the Middle East to ensure that a former Prime Minister enjoys multi-million dollar lecture tours, count me out.

  6. I might fight for my country, if the cause was just. But fight for the queen? Why would i want to do that?

  7. " Nope , not unless i became king , then we would be the biggest hardest mf in the world and no one would even dare to think about starting with us .

  8. Don't have one STOLEN BY REPTILES

  9. I am in the Army. I don't fight for Queen and country. I fight for my mates next to me. Our country treats us like dirt!

  10. country, maybe.  Queen, NEVER!

  11. If the threat were indeed great enough. And its Britain, England is just one country that is part of the UK.

  12. No way.

If I can't go to my local pub and sit down inside and enjoy a pint of ale and a smoke because the Government says I can not smoke  inside then I say **** my country, I will not fight for it.  I would fight for the other side though if they let me smoke in their pubs.

  13. Noo, to young lol i would always need a nap.

  14. If the Queen was right, yes. If I didn't like where she was headed then, NOPE go smoke some dope. I'll only go for what I believe in. That's what happened in WWII. Hitler forced people to join the army (Right? I'm not sure). If you didn't join then, BYE. Am I right? I wasn't really paying attention in history class.

    Super

  15. If someone was trying to kill my friends and family I know who I would rather dead.

  16. Country Yes. Queen, never.

  17. No we would all sit back and let the n**i's invade us and that is why we all speak German now.

  18. Is your life and queen worth £250.00 a week to fight????

Sure they tried to put their soldiers down after the Falklands with that Syndrome some developed, the army said the soldiers were lazy.

  21. Yes, as a matter of fact I have an interview on friday to join the army so fingers crossed :-)

  22. If the cause was worthy-yes.

  23. Of course.

We live in a democracy. If that democratically elected government asks us to fight, then fight we must.

Personally,I think the next war will be a civil war.Against the enemy invaders that Blair allowed to settle here in exchange for votes.

    I'm ready!

    DEUS VULT

  24. When I was very young, I took the oath of allegiance as a Wren.  Even then, I understood it as meaning allegiance to the state in practice, whatever the wording.

I would have defended Britain as it was back in 1968.  I served in peacekeeping operations, including Northern Ireland, and believed I, and my country, were doing the right thing.

Then came radical change - peacekeeping was perverted into the shoring up of a bloodstained, discredited sectarian regime, and at home, government was conducting economic war against the people.  I became a civilian again as quickly as possible, and campaigned against the wrongful and evil things that were going on.  I have continued doing so ever since.  I believe my reasons for doing so were not only honest but patriotic.  It is patriotic to denounce a shameful government and seek to change it.

Would I fight, now, for the Britain that Thatcher and Blair built?  Would I h**l - but I would fight to change it into something just, and fit for the majority of its people, not just the obscenely rich, to live in.  Yes, in that way, I would be fighting for my country, but I would understand 'my country' as my fellow citizens - and I don't give a tinker's cuss about daft old Mrs Mountbatten, one way or the other.

So, you see, it's not as straightforward as your question would make out.

  25. No, the queen has signed away our country to Europe. This is where the real fight is, taking place sneakily and surrepticiously involving the Queen and the corrupt parliaments for the last 30 years. I may fight for King Charles and country, he appears to have common sense on his shoulders and speaks for me more than any politician, i hope he replaces the Queen soon.

  26. yes if the country was threatened

  27. I'd fight for my family.

I'd only fight for my country if it was against the queen.

  28. No I'd be the traitor and get locked up in the tower of London.

  29. If the Queen was right I would fight for her...if the Country was right I would fight her. It depends...

  30. as much as i love my country of great britain, i don't think war is ever the answer and also i don't consider the queen worth fighting for. no offense to her, but she's not superior to any of us. i would like to see the monarchy abolished.

  31. I've been fighting for it since my first word of "Nanay" that caused me near death thanks to that snake "ELL of Jolo" Thanks to all people of England1969 and to all medical staffs and to Moller family.I am still fighting for sake. Maybe till forever. I just wonder what are those people of Justice Ministry been doin.
