England’s Stuart Broad may miss the ICC World Cup match against Bangladesh
England pacer Stuart Broad is expected to miss his side’s ICC World Cup, 2011 group match against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757.
“I felt a bit tight in the field and it sort of increased after the match,” Broad told reporters in Chittagong.
The fast bowler is set to undergo a scan on the side-strain later on Tuesday. An England and Wales Cricket Board spokesman said: “Pending further assessments of scans we will also know what the outlook is like for the rest of the tournament.”
The player had missed most of the Ashes Test series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 due to a side strain. Talking to the media, the pacer claimed that the injury is not as severe as it was during the Ashes series.

It is speculated that the fast bowler Ajmal Shahazad will play in Friday’s match in Chittagong, if Broad is unable to recover in time.
