Englands sham of a rugby team?

well is it really worth england turning upto see off the mighty south africa this weekend?

58-10,last week with a far better squad than this week i feel another tour of h**l coming on.

whats gone wrong sine winning the world cup...surley you dont go from world cup heroes to a bunch of amatuers in such a short space of time

personally my opinion is the Guiness Premiership, now i know 2 teams got into the heineken cup final but the problem is rugby is being 'soccerised' in england. rich owners are buying players from new zealand and everywhere else and the young england players arent getting chances. take the magners league for example not the most spectacular league in the world i'll give you that but look at ireland. our players are getting loads of oppurtunities i mean we spent a lot of money in keeping one of our emerging props at munster instead of leaving. i think the IRB should impose salary caps on the leagues and allow only a certain amount of 'foreign' players be on the field at anyone time. it's going to end up like soccer meaningless friendlies where all the best international players are playing in other countries leagues. and since the world cup we have seen a new style of rugby come about. england won the world cup with a big pack an outstanding outhalf and big bulky backs, thy're still trying to play like that but its not working

I trust england will try harder this time around.  Every team goes through bad times now and again - its just horrible to be a supporter of a losing team though.

we relied on too few people....Johnson and the coach......when they went we lost our way.....

English sport in general is a sham ! You only beat us in the last World Cup by Johny WilkInsons boot ! Nothing else, ok you did play a fair chess game to get him to the 50m line for that field goal ! Only way you could have beaten Australia really. We're currently embarassing the Welsh, so I guess you guys are next ! Don't worry we always rise to the big games, unlike the English ! I don't give the Poms any chance against SA or NZ or AUSTRALIA !!!
