Englands world cup dream!?

Question

what an appalling game we had on wednesday night, if this is the stadard we are playing at we are going to be sorely dissapointed because we wont qualify for our world cup dream..... is it time for the older players to hang up their boots and makeway for a fresher younger team, some of our players were past it for the euro crusade and we still have 18 months till world cup so they will be getting no better? why do managers rely on players or name only when their reputations are all they have leftand the playing ability is slowing... Heskey???? what was capello thinking? Beckham gave too many balls away and the whole team was just a farce any one out there agree?

We didn't play well but i think when the under 21 move into the first squad we will win it again.

Yeah i completely agree Agbondalhor is a good young forward and I do believe that Capello should be changing things around. Its been tried and tested and every englishman knows stevie G and Lampard just cant play together cos there too much alike. Its tim too look for a new keeper a good centre midfielder and a young centre forward. That would be a start.

Young players? how much younger do you want them to be?

Heskey myt not be a proven goal scorer, but he is a fine, strong striker.

...beckham's balls are still as accurate. So this is the best team england has....

These players (Lampard, Gerrard, Terry, Joe Cole, Rooney etc) are all in there peak. The truth is these are the best players we have. There are no younger players good enough to take these guys place. England must stick with them and just hope that they get it together............I doubt they will though.
