English AP Language and Composition question! Please help!?

I am really bad at writing and I am going to try English AP this year. I heard you do a lot of writing so I was hoping that I can improve my writing in this class. Is English AP Language and Composition hard (especially if I am bad at writing)? Please tell me everything you know about this class!

Classes are different all over, and no one here knows you, so there's no way a person could tell you whether you should take this class or not. But classes LIKE these require a lot of writing- think a typed three page essay every week or two- along with other homework. They're about using grammar and vocabulary correctly (language) and writing well (composition). It will definitely stretch the skills of most students so you will probably become a better writer. However, your grades may suffer anywhere from slightly to tremendously.

If you're bad at writing, don't take an AP class. Take the normal course and practice writing outside of school. You'll get a good grade (hopefully) and improve your writing.

Colleges like high grades in easy classes better than low grades in hard classes.
