English Citizenship?

I am a US citizen and I was thinking about moving to England. Can someone explain how I would go about the following things?

Getting a job

Buying a car and insurance

transferring citizenship to England

transferring medical and dental records

  1. not to sound patronising but there is no English Citizenship. There are only British Citizens here or in other words a Citizen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. If your serious about this, i think first you need to do research on what the difference between England, Britain and the UK is.

    Also It's not easy for a U.S Citizen to move to and work in the UK these days.

    over the past few years there has been mass immigration, and the government has basically had enough of it and has set up a points system for potential immigrants.

    you will have to go through a points sytem for highly skiled immigrants to gain a visa for working in the UK. So basically, if you do not have a skill we are in desperate need of in this country you will not be given a Visa.

    also any UK,EU or British Commenwealth Citizen is above you in the pecking order to get jobs
