For English we are studying Othello and have to write about What we learned from Othello in relation to Racism and its evils, Any help would be appreciated, I'm stuck on what ideas to write about

  1. Well, one message of "Othello" is anti-racism. Desdemona's father is against Othello simply because he is a dark-skinned Moor, but he is proven to be a much better man than the evil Iago.

    You could do a character comparison between Othello and Iago, using the early racism as a set-up for showing how the color of a person's skin doesn't matter because Othello is more noble than Iago, and Desdemona's death is due solely to Iago's treachery.
