A poem has 5 full stops in the first half, but only 1 in the second. What effect does that have?

without not seeing the peom it is hard to convey exactly what the writer is trying to saying.

the first  half sounds shorter sharper making points. The second half is about flowing

Full stops signal an end. If something does not have full stops then it is ongoing, shows that something hasn't ended. Look at the wording, is it significant in relation to that?
