Liverpool transfer targets: Luis Suarez, Charles N’Zogbia
Uruguayan star Luis Suarez has made it clear he wishes to move to the English Premier League, possibly during the January transfer window. The 2010 World Cup star admitted that Manchester City star striker Carlos Tevez was his inspiration and his success
in the English top flight had encouraged him to make a move there as well. So far Liverpool have emerged as the only possible buyers for the Ajax striker.
Suarez said while speaking to media, “I used to think that English football was not my style. But I saw Tevez play at Boca and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Corinthians-c38855 and I never imagined that he would play in the Premier League. When I see the way that Tevez plays there I think I

However, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 have not yet made an official offer for the player and Frank de Boer, the Ajax boss, said that for a move to go through the Reds had to make an offer soon. De Boer said he would not let a deal go through at the very end of the transfer
window since he needed time to replace the striker. If Suarez does indeed move to the Premier League, Ajax have the likes of Eidur Gudjohnsen and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Bas-Dost-c7339 lined up to replace him.
The Ajax manager insisted the Red’s had to be quick to decide if they planned to bring the striker to Anfield. He said while speaking to reporters, “We won't let Luis go on 31 January at 23.55. To replace Suarez will be difficult, but we are ready. We have
a Plan B, we know what we want if he leaves.”
On the other hand, Liverpool are still in the race for Wigan’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Charles-c8808 N’Zogbia but are not willing to pay the demanded £15 million for the player. Reports reveal that the Reds are prepared to pay only half of what the club demanded for the 24 year old,
which has currently put talks between the two sides on hold.
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish attended Wigan’s clash against Fulham last week to watch the player. He was impressed and intends to bring him to Anfield during the winter transfer window, as soon as a price is agreed upon. He is contracted to Wigan until
the end of the 2012 season, but is determined to leave.
The French striker had his differences with the Latics manager Roberto Martinez, because of which he handed a transfer request in the summer. He went on a strike after it was rejected, but has patched things up with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Martinez-c24468 since then and has put up a decent
performance this season. He has scored 3 and assisted 2 goals so far this season.
