English Premier League, Tottenham Face Heavy Competition For Their Targets

More Than 15 Clubs Chasing Romelu Lukaku
RSC Anderlecht revealed that they have received over 15 enquires over Romelu Lukaku, the teenage sensation who has been described as the next Didier Drogba. The 17 year old striker is contracted to RSC Anderlecht until 2015 and has scored 11 goals and set
up three so far this season. Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are among the many clubs interested in Lukaku.
Herman van Holsbeck, the Anderlecht sporting director, told reporters in a press conference,
“At least 15 clubs have registered interest with us. But we immediately rejected all bids under €20 million. We do not have to sell the striker. In fact he'll be safer in January with us, and maybe we'll keep him for a few more seasons.”
Real Madrid and Tottenham Compete For Emmanuel Adebayor
Recent reports suggest that Real Madrid are prepared to battle English Premier side Tottenham for Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor, who seems to be set to leave the club this January, in the upcoming transfer window.
According to an inside source, Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho is an admirer of the former Arsenal forwards and believes that his pace and built make him ideal for Madrid. The fact that he’s on his way out has made Mourinho more determined to land the striker
this January.
The 26 year old has been frustrated at Manchester City because of lack of first team opportunities, having to compete with the likes of Carlos Tevez and Mario Balotelli. Even in the few starts that he has received, the striker has failed to perform under
Roberto Mancini.
There have also been reports that the striker has been involved in arguments with the Manchester City boss, a dressing room brawl during the goal less draw against rivals Manchester United. That is one of the reasons Roberto Mancini is determined to get
rid of him as soon as possible.

Real Madrid will be facing competition from Harry Redknapp’s Tottenham and Juventus FC Torino. The striker himself has given no indication as to where he is planning to go this January, but hinted that a loan deal with one of the sides may already have been
agreed upon.
