English Premier League: Chelsea vs. Sunderland Half-Time Report – Part 2

as he produced a fine finish to give his team the lead as the score line reached 1-2 to the visiting side.

At the end of the first half, both the teams stepped up their efforts to gain the lead as in the 42nd minute of the match, Richardson’s powerful shot brought the best out of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Petr-Cech-c29837 who palmed the ball away acrobatically. Nonetheless, neither
the visitors nor the hosts were successful in taking the lead into the half time break as 45 minutes of breathtaking football came to an end with the scoreline at 2-2.
Chelsea will hope to work Craig Gordon a bit more in the second half whereas Steve Bruce’s Sunderland will work towards filling the holes in their defence which have allowed Chelsea to creep back into the match. No immediate changes
are expected at the half time break, but Chelsea might opt to introduce withdraw Kalou in favour of another midfielder later on in the second half of the match at the Stadium of Light.
