English Premier League: DJ Campbell hoping for an English call up
DJ Campbell is hoping for a surprise English national team call up from Fabio Capello after hitting new heights with the English Premier League side, Blackpool. Campbell was signed by Blackpool in the summer transfer window for
only 1 million pounds but he has paid back the trust of Ian Holloway.
Holloway who is Blackpool’s manager led them to the English Premier League last season after they finished 6th in the Championship. Following their sixth place finish in the Championship, Blackpool defeated Cardiff City
in the resulting play-offs to secure their place in the 2010-2011 Premier League season.

Blackpool are now gearing up to play their next league match on 2nd of February, 2011 against West Ham United. The Hammers are battling a relegation war at the moment and Blackpool are sure to face some strict competition
from Avram Grant’s men at the Bloomfield Road stadium.
