Sandro’ strike couple with Jermain Defoe’s brace in the second-half helped the Spurs to bag all three points convincingly against Martin Jol’s men on Saturday.
In the 15th round of the English top flight football, Tottenham Hotspur recorded a resounding 0-3 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage on Saturday, December 1.
After a goalless half that saw goalscoring opportunities few and far between, the Spurs put in a dazzling performance in the second-half. Sandro broke the deadlock in the 56th minute. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jermain-Defoe-c18359 doubled his side’s advantage in the 72nd
minute, while the talented attacker netted his second of the evening five minutes later to put the match to bed.
Bettor.com analysis the individual performances put in by Fulham players.
Fulham:
Mark Schwarzer
The Cottagers goalkeeper was hardly ever tested in the opening 45 minutes. Could have done better to restrict Sandro’s opener, but had no chance whatsoever to deny Defoe’s brace.

The Norwegian left-back kept Lennon quite throughout the evening. His surging runs forward gave his side better options upfront while his crosses in the penalty area from the left flank remained a threat for the visiting side.
Aaron Hughes
Put in a solid show in the opening half, but failed to restrict the movement of Dempsey and Defoe in the second-half.

Remained rock solid throughout the first-half in the Fulham’s heart of defence, but put in a below par performance after the break. Should have closed down Sandro, when the Brazilian netted the opening goal.

Kept Bale quiet until the opening half-hour of play, before being replaced by Kelly due to an injury.
Kerim Frei
The Turkish midfielder showed his trickery on the ball, but failed to threaten the visiting side’s defence with his runs down the left flank.

Another impressive outing for the 31-year-old midfield maestro, but had little influence over the game, as most of the game was played on the flanks. All in all, it was a decent performance.

Showed his intelligent passing skills, and created plenty of space for his front-line with his movement upfront. However, he missed a golden opportunity to break the deadlock in the second-half after Petric found him unmarked.

Sent in couple of dangerous crosses in the penalty area from the right flank, and remained a constant menace for the visiting side. Gave all sorts of problems to Vertonghen.

The Bulgarian ace wore the captain’s armband against his former club. Showed his skills on the ball, and yet again convinced that he has got the best ball control in the English Premier League. However, he never really managed to threaten the visiting side’s
defence.

The Croatian striker’s impressive movement earned two of his side’s best goalscoring opportunities. However, he was let down on both occasions due to poor finishing. All in all, it was a solid performance put in by the 31-year-old attacker.
