Here is quick quiz for you. Which Premier League manager has lost nine games, won just three and has taken his side, which finished sixth in the league in 2009-10, rock bottom of the form table?
Surely it really isn’t much of a quiz considering that the answer is typed in bold at the top of the question itself, but it gives you an indication of what a horrible job Gerard Houllier has done since taking over at Aston Villa.
One wonders does he have any links with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809. Oh yes! Well, that explains it.
On a more serious note, he has had injury problems with some of his important players and he has used it as an excuse for poor results on the pitch. However, now that he has his full squad at disposal for the Birmingham derby, that excuse will not be valid
anymore.

One thing is clear that the former gamble, Bentley has plenty of talent. That is why Tottenham paid over £15m for his services in 2008. But skill and talent are useless if one does not know how and when to use them.
Bentley has so far been incredibly inconsistent and that explains why he has been sent out on loan to Birmingham City. He can make an immediate impact with the derby game coming up at the weekend.
If he can use his talent to show off his skills, he can become an instant hero at St Andrews.
Sunderland
Sunderland fans and players simply cannot wait for their clash against city rivals Newcastle United. This is one of the four weekend derbys but the one which carries a lot of significance for both sides.
Sunderland were put to sword last time these two met, when Newcastle thrashed them 5-1. However, the timing of this clash could not have been worse for Sunderland. They will be most definitely without http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nedum-Onuoha-c27453, Lee Cattermole,
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Danny-Welbeck-c10233.
This will leave Sunderland not just short of players but lacking some real quality. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lee-Cattermole-c21868’s absence has been felt recently while Onuoha and Welbeck have been in good form of late.
Steve Bruce will be hoping that his side manages to make it 1-1 in season’s derby head-to-heads.

Alan Pardew
He still has to win fans over. Pardew was not a popular choice especially after the popular http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chris-c9006 Houghton was sacked. So far, he has beaten Liverpool but lost to Stevenage. This inconsistency has annoyed the fans.
The rollercoaster results have left Newcastle fans thinking and so far, no verdict has been made about their new manager. A win over Sunderland and he would be relieved for a few weeks but a defeat at the hands of their fiercest rivals and the fans will
be on his back.
Big, big weekend for Alan Pardew.
Avram Grant
One has to feel sorry for Avram Grant, he has done his best for West Ham who are 9th in the table, ahead of the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and Liverpool, yet he is under extreme pressure to deliver every week.
In fact, he has never been accepted completely wherever he has been. A bad result on Sunday, which is very much on the cards, and he could be shown the door.
If the reports are to be believed, then his fate has already been decided and this will be his last week in charge. West Ham hope to tie up a replacement by that time to replace the former Chelsea manager.
