On English Premier League matchday 15, Manchester United cruised to a resounding 4-3 win over Reading at Madejski Stadium on Saturday, December 1.
The Royals started brightly at home, and grabbed the lead within the opening eight minutes through Hal Robson-Kanu. However, only five minutes later, both sides were level on terms with Anderson adding his name to the score-sheet.
Three minutes later, Wayne Rooney scored from the spot to give the Red Devils a lead, only for Adam le Fondre to restore parity in the 19th minute.
Sean Morrison re-established the home side’s one goal lead in the 23rd minute, which was cancelled out by Rooney seven minutes later. Robin van Persie’s strike in the 34th minute gifted United a deserving lead, which remained until
the full time whistle.
Bettor.com analysis all the Reading players’ performances.
Adam Federici
The Royals goalkeeper should have done better at Anderson’s strike that beat him at the near post. Could have done little to deny any of the other three goals.

The English left-back was impressive in taking the corner-kicks, as two of the home side’s goals came from them. Remained untested at the back throughout the 90 minutes. All in all, it was a decent performance.

The Jamaican defender would be pleased with his performance in the heart of the Royals defence. However, he had difficulties in tying down Van Persie and Rooney, who threatened him throughout the game.
Sean Morrison
He was impressive at set-pieces, netted his side’s third goal from a corner. However, it was not a bright outing for the talented central defender, as he defended poorly and never really provided cover for Cummings.
Shaun Cummings
The 23-year-old right-back was ripped apart by Ashley Young, who moved with ease at the left flank. The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 defender was out of position on many occasions, and can easily be accused of United’s first and third goal.
Jobi McAnuff
The Jamaican midfield ace put in another decent performance. The Royals captain remained a constant menace for the visiting side, and it was his cross that led to his side’s opening goal.
Jay Tabb
It was a far from pleasing effort from the Irish midfielder. An unnecessary challenge on Evans in the box allowed Rooney to score from the spot, while his presence in the opposition’s box was never a threat for the visiting side.
Mikele Leigertwood
The 30-year-old failed to tie down Rooney in the opening half. However, put in a better show after the break.
Hal Robson-Kanu
Remained impressive throughout the 90 minutes. Netted the opening goal, and came close to scoring another, but Lindegaard made a decent save to deny him hitting the target. All in all, it was a fine performance.

His presence in the opponent’s box remained a threat for the visiting side, but failed to add his name to the score-sheet.
Adam Le Fondre
Another decent performance put in by the English hit-man, who did well to head home his side’s second goal of the evening.
