English Premier League – Second Half Report: Tottenham versus Newcastle United (Part 3)
In the 64th minute of the match, Newcastle United attacked with Tiote dictating play. The midfielder played the ball to Joey Barton who tried to play in Andy Carroll but Kaboul intercepted play and led the Tottenham counter-attack. The Frenchman
was then tackled by Tiote and there were some words exchanged in the aftermath of the tackle by the two players.
The referee immediately stepped in as both the players were separated by the officials. The turning moment came next as the referee sent off Kaboul as the television replays showed that the centre back had head-butted Tiote, as a result the defender had
been sent off. In the 67th minute of the match, Harry Redknapp made his second substitution of the match as he took off http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roman-Pavlyuchenko-c31639 in place of Sebastian Bassong. The change was made due to Kaboul’s sending off as Bassong was brought in to
shore up the Tottenham defence.
In the 68th minute, Aaron Lennon was clean through on goal as he played in Rafael Van Der Vaart. The Dutchman rounded the move off with a tap in but the referee halted play due to the linesman’s flag on the far side as the referee’s assistance

In the 69th minute, Bale was released into space by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luka-Modric-c22857, the Welsh winger crossed the ball but his pass was intercepted by Steven Taylor who then cleared the ball out of the Newcastle United penalty area. In the 70th minute,
Newcastle United had a glorious chance to score as he was played in by Wayne Routledge. However, Smith was off the mark with his overhead kick from the lofted pass as the ball went out of play for a Tottenham Hotspur goal kick. At the 71st minute,
Rafael Van Der Vaart was substituted for Tottenham Hotspur as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Peter-Crouch-c29741 was introduced onto the field as the home side made their third and final change of the match.
