English Premier League Team Of The Month, September – Part 1

September was a peculiar month in the English Premier League. As the leading teams seem to be plunging down in the ratings and the less significant teams on the table seem to be conjuring up some amazing wins.
The Premiership’s best players have been playing in top form and the time has come to recognize their endeavours so here is the best starting eleven line up from this month’s play in the English Premier League.
Goalkeeper: Matthew Gilks, Blackpool
Matthew Gilks has played against the odds this month for Blackpool all through the three games that the team has played, he has made sixteen amazing saves and this includes seven saves that he made in a single match against Newcastle Untied.
Gilk did let in four goals in Blackpool’s fixture against the Blues but to be fair this was not from any fault of his own. If anything else the keeper played commendably as he made seven brilliant saves in the match as Chelsea’s attack hurled twenty nine
shots towards the goal posts.
The low point for this goal keeper was when he let in an own goal but when the whole month is put into perspective then this twenty eight year old English player has been nothing short of amazing.
Defender: Kolo Toure, Manchester City
Kolo Toure is a twenty nine year old Ivorian footballer; he has put in exceptional performances this month for the Citizens. He has also been leading Manchester City’s defence line and only allowed one goal to go in the whole month.
Manchester City’s defence even kept out Chelsea’s dangerous attacks and this is by far the most worthy to mention as Chelsea’s attacks are terrifying on the football field.
The Citizen’s defences were so good in the match against Chelsea that it only requires Joe Hart to make five saves throughout this month and Kolo Toure has been the leading figure in the team’s defence line all month.
Defender: Antolin Alcaraz, Wigan Athletic
Wigan Athletic’s defensive line has been a pleasant surprise all month as the team only allowed itself to suffer with three games in a span of three games
The Lactic’s offensive play is a complete opposite story as the team only managed to score a single goal in the three matches they played this month.
Defender: Gareth Bale, Tottenham Hotspurs
Gareth Bale’s play was not an overwhelming one but his consistency with unparalleled form has made the world’s best clubs catch his attention.
He is only twenty one years old and is a part of the Welsh national team as well. He has been playing professional football in the big leagues and the national team ever since he was seventeen years old.
His intense runs have been a shinning ray of hope for the Lily Whites in spite of their pitiable play from the start of this season.
Defender: Brede Hangeland, Fulham
Brede Hangeland has been the key element in Fulham’s defensive concoction that has resulted in the team only letting in two goals in three games.
Brede Hangeland played every minute in all three games and did not get substituted or benched though out this month and he still kept outdoing the opposing team’s attackers over and over again.
His team mates Stephen Kelly and Aaron Hughes deserve some credit for the team’s monthly outcome too but this twenty nine year old Norwegian player deserves the praise of this list as he saved a goal by a terrific header on the goal line in the match against
Blackburn.
