Midfielder: Steven Gerrard, Liverpool
Liverpool is going through a tough time right now but still their star player and Captain Steven Gerrard is not leaving out anything on the football field as this player knows only one way of playing football.
The thirty year old English national team and Liverpool captain has scored three of the four goals netted by The Reds this month and this includes two goals in Liverpool’s epic loss against the Red Devils when Dimitar Berbatov scored a hat-trick at Anfield.
Midfielder: Nani, Manchester Untied
The Red Devils have netted eight goals in three matches over September and Nani has played a crucial part in this endeavour made by Manchester United. The twenty three year old Portuguese player is part of both the Manchester United and the national team
squad and plays the winger position.
He displayed excellent performances this month which ranged from scoring goals, to making chances, assisting others and keeps the defence line worried as he is a daunting threat near the goal post.
Nani has scored only one goal this month but has played his role well in the team and has been a very creative playmaker as his assists resulted in three goals and numerous attempts.
Midfielder: Florent Malouda, Chelsea
This was a tough choice between the two Blue’s players Essien and Makouda as both have been very dominant in the team’s outcome in September.
Both are in top form and are playing brilliantly but the spot for the list goes to thirty year old French winger as he has been making dangerous finishes and only missed a few last month.
Midfielder: Stewart Downing, Aston Villa
The Villans has a respectable month and it was only Stewart Downing’s presentations that have given the club some hope.
The twenty six year old English winger has scored two goals in spectacular performances made in his top form, he times his runs, and has been delivering callous shots.
Stewart Downing is thought to be one of the top rising stars of the English Premier League and is certainly very entertaining to watch.
Forward: Peter Odemwingie, West Bromwich
Peter Odemwingie has been a major force for West Brom and has scored two goals. He has been too much to handle for the opposing teams and has definitely been proving himself to be one of West Bromwich’s most vital players.
He is not the most famous player in the English Premier League but West Brom feels very obliged to have this twenty nine year old Russian footballer playing among their ranks.
Forward: Dimitar Berbatov, Manchester United
Dimitar Berbatov is a twenty nine year old Bulgarian player who plays for the Red Devils and the Bulgarian national team, he has scored four month for Manchester United in September and this includes a hat-trick against the Reds.
Berbatov’s extreme training in the season break has paid off for this player as he is showing brilliant form and still is not stopping from amazing the masses.
Dimitar Berbatov scored a hat-trick against the Reds on their home ground of Anfield, this is a first hat-trick be a single player against the Reds by the Red Devils since 1946.
Berbatov’s second goal came from a dazzling bicycle kick into the goal posts and this speaks for the merit of the player.
Dimitar Berbatov is without a doubt the player of the month in the English Premier League, this list was not in order of merit but Dimitar Berbatov has set the records in September for the Red Devils and earned his the spot for the best player of the month.
He has amazed every one as he was not this amazing this season and has made his country proud.
