West Ham United were in a relegation battle last season as well when they were being managed by Gianfranco Zola. However, the club successfully survived the relegation fall by finishing 17th in the Premier League table
in May 2010.
This season the club is once again on the brink of relegation. Avram Grant and his players are trying as hard as they can to keep the club afloat in the Premier League ocean. Hitzlsperger may be available to Avram Grant for West
