English Premier League: Under rated players who will make a difference this coming season (Part 3)

The English Premier League is well known for players like Wayne Rooney, Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard – players who have the ability to turn a match in their favor within no time. Everyone is well aware of the fact that these players can make a solid impact on the game and are guaranteed to give it their best shot throughout the season.
So it’s important to have match winners in the team, but at times it is players who manage to rise up to the challenge that really make the difference. However, under-the-radar players are the biggest threat of them all. This is mainly because no one is quite sure how capable they are. And when they do produce moments of magic, it hits every one off-guard. Here is a look at some players who aren’t as well known if compared to the Rooney’s and Drogba’s of EPL football, but could and most probably would make the real difference for their teams this coming term.

Jack Rodwell
Jack Rodwell is a superstar that is just waiting to be born. He is the future of the England squad. He has been adored by the fans and the media for as long as he has been playing football. With Fabio Capello looking to add youth to the England squad, it is believed by experts that the time for Rodwell to explode on the international scene has come. Rodwell is a dominant tackler and a fantastic player of the ball. Rodwell is currently employed by Everton. According to Donovan who spent a brief loan period at Everton, "I really believe Jack could rejuvenate thisEngland team."
"I don't give out false praise, but this young guy really is a future world beater.
"I'm sure he can make the same impact for club and country that Wayne Rooney and David (Beckham) have, that's really how good he is."
Experts believe that Rodwell would be a key player to the Everton side that wishes to make it to the top four this season.
Jerome Boateng
Manchester City are a team that are currently built around the most well known names in the world of football. They possess in their roster players like Carlos Tevez, David Silva and Yaya Toure. Neither one of those players are under rated players by any means.
However those players have taken away attention from what could be the most important addition to the City squad, that addition is of German international Jerome Boateng. Boateng is probably the least famous player amongst the current City roster. He could however prove to be the most important addition. City already possess a very strong attack and the only area that they lacked in was in their defense.
Boateng had been phenomenal  for the German  squad during the World Cup and will be looking to bring the same form to the Eastlands. He will add power, stability and an urgency to win the ball to the backline of the City defense.
If Boateng can manage to establish himself as a defensive force then his addition could see Manchester City go on to surpass most people’s expectations.
Jonny Evans
Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic have been rock solid for Manchester United. They have been one of the most reliable defensive partnerships in the Premier League. Vidic was heavily linked with a move away from the club, but recently put an end to all those speculations and rumors.
Regular injuries to Rio Ferdinand saw him being ruled out of the England World Cup campaign and has now cast a doubt over his future at United. Ferdinand is expected to injure himself again and would most probably sit out most of the season.
Manchester United don’t need to look elsewhere for a replacement for the player. They have Jonny Evans in their current squad who will be looking to establish himself at United. Evans has already played over sixty games for Manchester United under Alex Ferguson but still hasn’t managed to make a name for himself in the starting lineup.
Experts believe that this could be the season that Evans finally makes the jump to the first team. It is expected that Ferdinand will injure himself again and Evans will play anything between ten or twenty games for the team. His performances in those games could prove to be crucial to United’s title challenge. If he manages to put in solid performances then it wouldn’t be surprising to see him emerge as a regular starter in the United defence.
