English Premier League: Where should the top flight teams end their respective seasons (Part 1)
The Premier League has reached its half-way mark and the players are enjoying a well-earned winter break, which may well end too soon for them as they will once again report to their clubs for training.
Some teams have played only 16 games like league leaders, Manchester United while some have made it to 17 games after a snow-hit last 2 weeks that postponed many matches all over England.
Perhaps, the biggest talking point or points till the half-way of the season will be http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786’s poor form for the past 4 weeks and then Manchester United’s Invincibility.  Even talking about newcomers, Blackpool’s sensational debut in the league is a great
talking point among the pundits.
Still, 2011 will be a new year and a lot of twists and turns are expected when the business end of the season starts. Many will aim to win the title, a few would be battling for European berths, some would just want to stay in the league and some would be
up for a relegation scrap that has always been an exciting feature of the Premier League.
Whatever aims all the teams have; they should be aiming for at least these places that will now be discussed team by team.
20) West Ham United
The Hammers have been getting hammered in the league for the past two seasons and the hammering is expected to carry on. It’s sad to see a side that was once one of the greatest teams in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749, suffer so harshly in the Premier League. They have been at
the bottom of the table and it’s somewhat unavoidable to say that the London side will be relegated come May.
West Ham will have tough away trips when the season re-opens as they visit, Tottenham, Manchester City and Chelsea.  West Ham have shown glimpses of a hidden force to be reckoned with this season like the 4-0 win against Manchester United in the Carling
Cup quarterfinal. A few more performances of such scale won’t hurt West Ham’s chances of survival which seems harder day by day.
19) Wolves
It will be a very sad day indeed, if http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952 are relegated at the end of this season. The newcomers have performed admirably and are one of the most exciting teams in the League. But even if they do get relegated, Wolves should be proud of their achievements
this season as they are fighting for honour under Mick McCarthy. They survived last season but it’s likely that they will be relegated this season even though they have played so well.
18) Wigan
A topsy-turvy season is what defines the midlands team and can’t be called a good team either. They seem to be too reliant on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Charles-c8808 N’Zogbia and this makes them suffer even more. Bookies have already named them as favourites for going down at the end of
this campaign and the current performances prove the fact as well. Not a very entertaining side, Wigan surely is going to put up a fight even if it won’t be easy to the eye.
17) Fulham
The London club is currently languishing calamitously close to the relegation zone but don’t really deserve to be there at the moment. Fulham featured in the final of the Europa League last season and have a great potential at their disposal which will never
see Mark Hughes’ side go down.
Even if they do get relegated, it would be a shame as their attacking game is one of the best in the league even if they don’t win matches regularly. The 2nd half of this season will see Fulham notch up a gear and finish in the Mid-Table which
will be a great achievement for the London side.
