Local reports suggest that London sides Chelsea and Arsenal are determined to land Juventus centre back Nicola Legrottaglie during the January transfer window. Both the English Premier League sides have had injury problems this season which have affected
their chances in the title race. Both Carlo Ancelotti and Arsene Wenger will be looking to strengthen their sides during this time and what would be a better option than one of the best defenders in Europe. in signing the experienced player. The 34-year-old central defender is contracted to Juventus until the end of this season, which makes his departure likely.
AC Milan interested in Chelsea left back Bosingwa
According to reports Chelsea are willing to sell the Portuguese defender this month so they can profit instead of when the player's contract expires at the end of this season and he's able to leave for free. He arrived at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Porto-c39186 for an estimated
€20.6 million but the right back was not able to establish himself in the Chelsea first team because of injuries and failure to link up with the other players. Since his return from injury, the player has only managed 20 appearances for the Blues and even
those have not been exceptional. It is quite possible that the Portuguese international will be on his way out in the January transfer window, with AC Milan looking to be the main contenders for him.
Arsenal’s Arshavin to move to Juventus
Andrei Arshavin’s agent Dennis Lachter spoke to media recently, saying there was a possibility the Arsenal star could be on his way out soon, possibly to Juventus during the January transfer window. He said, “There is a possibility of Andrei moving to Juventus.
There could be opportunities to move in January, but again, we're talking about a player under contract and currently there is nothing concrete.” Lachter insisted there were no guarantees about the player’s future and said there were two reasons why Arshavin
could end up staying at the Emirates until the end of this season. He revealed, "First of all, Arsenal could win the Premier League this year and this is a dream for any footballer. There is also the financial capacity of Juve to consider, as Arsenal are demanding
at least €20 million for Arshavin.”
