English Saddle Help!?

ok so im getting a new saddle but its about 900 dollors!! its an circuit elite equitation english saddle and it fits me so well and i need it in a 16.5 is there anywhere else i could get it cheaper?!

check E-Bay, or ask around close by farms if they have any saddles they are looking to sell. I was going to buy a 18" black high-cantle coligate, ( not that great) and my friend found a Pessoa 18" AQ saddle for only $200 more.  It fits both my horses, my TB and my older TB belgian cross. It was SO worth it.  It looks great with my hunt coat.  Isuggest you look around a bit more, but tell the sellers of the saddle to hang onto it in case you can't find a better deal.

go on-line and look at different tack sites... ask around too, to see where other people got there saddle... it also depends on what kind... are you sticking to one kind? I know Ricks Saddlery has used ones...

I just found my saddle by googling

    craigslist, saddle, and whatever brand you're looking for. Some people won't be willing to ship, but most will and I found that a lot of saddles were great deals. Good luck.

If you look at used saddles you could def. find it cheaper! Also for that kind of money you can get better brands [even if they are slightly used-just think of the time it saves you as you wont have to break the leather in!]

Heres a circuit I found for you on ebay  but its a 17 wide. I bought my beloved Harry Dabbs A/O saddle on there for a steal!

Try usedsaddles.com. I didn't get mine there, but I should have because mine was $2500! They have better prices on online stores (generally) and on usedsaddles you can take it on trial. When you get to the website, be sure to click on the "English Saddles" tab before you search. Good Luck!!
