English Short Story Essay?!any titles i can do about?

My english teacher assighned our class to write a short story about anything but it has to be 6 pages typed..So does anyone know what i can write about, bcuz i have no clue and i just need to write about something...=]

Write about something that happened to your or your family..on vacation?

or about a family legend or mystery.  Or something ironic about a person who runs away from their family because, say, the father always comes in and criticizes in the very same way every day , at the table when everyone is eating so she goes to live with her mother and her new step father and he very first meal, in the same way he does the very same thing exactly!

You can jazz it up, add details.  etc.
