  1. An English education is considered one of the best in the world, not just the USA.

Students in the UK are externally examined (not just by the school) and graded in every subject every year from the ages of 6 through to 18, and the government is always looking for ways to make the exams harder and the level of skills higher.

An English education is a pretty good thing to have!

  2. Never heard that one before.  In fact, I have heard otherwise.  In my opinion, the education in Asian countries is excellent.  The only universities in the UK that are considered prestigious on a global level are Oxford and Cambridge.  Beyond that, I don't think you have a very good argument.

  3. Because we perpetually, accentuate our learn-ed behaviour as a result of historical presidency. Why do you think that most of the world leaders are educated in England. For example Bill clinton and osama binlarden

  4. I think you're lacking in knowledge.

My brother teaches English in other countries and they offered him more once they found out he was American.

And Azzikan, England does NOT have one of the best education systems in the world. Especially in younger years. Try Asia..

  5. do they?

perhaps they simply like British people better than American?

  6. Apostrophes don't make nouns plural.

  7. oh really ?

  8. duh, maybe its because we invented the language, so why get a plastic degree from America, oh because its easier ! do they give degrees to people who don't know the answer to that one !

  9. maybe cos we work really hard here and americans work hard yes but we have to work for our money and everything comes so easy to all you guys

  10. because we rule that's why!

    USA! USA! USA!

  11. the english education system is obviously more academic and more stringent.

Also, english people tend to know where other countries are.

ps dont take that personally, im not english

  12. Because it's commonly acepted that there is a higher standard of education in England.

  13. They don't.  Generally, primary and secondary school have been considered better in the UK than in the US, and university education has been considered better in the U.S.  Until the last few years, any UK degree which didn't come from Oxford or Cambridge was considered very weak.  In my field, it has only been in the past few years that any of the degrees from the UK were respected at all.

  14. I think the fact you can virtually buy an American "degree" at supermarkets has a detrimental effect on the credibility of the genuine ones.

  15. First I've heard of it and I'm english...Cambridge and that have produced the most nobel prize winners than nay over University in the world though...

Maybe its higher standards of entry and that required

  16. yay me for being english also english is one of the hardest languages in the world to learn, personally i found it very easy lol
