English classes for non-speakers?

Does anybody know any school or place where they teach english to people who do not know it (like ESL classes) in the state of Tennessee?

  1. They usually offered in elementary school, church, or even your local college (but in the college they might be a bit expensive)

  3. I have just completed a technologies class that mentioned places persons can go to help others with languages.  This is structured to be used in a classroom where there are students who don't speak English.

    Some of the recommended sites include www.iecc.org, www.kidlink.org.  There are also a few translation sites that can be used (as long as you don't want an exact translation).  www.freetranslation.com, www.worldlingo.com/products_services/wor...   The instructions say to be sure to click the free electronic translation button or you will have to pay for a human translator.
