Question Details: if you take all the non english born players from this league and non english born coaches this foot ball will be a mess. this is all about money , if you put the same money , sponsors and owners in leagues like portuguese, brazilian , argentinian leagues you will see better games and quality . english players and coaches think that latin football is to slow , but is the way of breaking and wining games against english way of playing: air balls , running like crazy , fight etc ... football need to be played with the head . again football in uk is all about money.a top play in portugal can get 150,000 euros a month when here is 180,000 pounds a week. in brazil a top player get around 50,000 a month . football is not money .

Football is mostly about entertainment and that's why English football is so popular and wealthy. Okay so England didn't qualify for the Euros. That means The Euros will lose revenue from the absence of English fans and Corporate sponsorship from the English speaking Multi-national companies.

Latin teams are more technically skillful but they tend to be boring to watch.

Greece won Euro 2004. Do you think anyone outside Greece is interested in Greek football? I don't think we should turn back the clock in England just so we can compete with slow methodical teams like Greece in the Euros.

I think you hit the nail on the head when you say its all about the money.

Have you noticed that some of these "top" players suddenly start to get serious injuries when they move up to better and richer clubs and spend most of their time on the bench yet,when they were with previous clubs they never seemed to have any injuries.

I have always said that you see a far better game of football at weekends in the local parks around the UK than,you do with some of these top teams.

Due to the eagerness of some of these clubs real English football talent is completely ignored and we should take a leaf out of the Welsh Rugby League which only allows Welsh born and bread players to play in the major cup games.

Just because we have opened our borders to all and sundry does not automatically give the foreigners the right to represent our country in major sporting events,some of these players can not even speak our language.

How many of these top players would play the game if they were only paid the national minimum wage,after all the already have the honour of playing for their country.

Yes, football is all about money now rather than being good at your sport. Its a disgrace these footballers get so much when hospitals, schools etc. need money much more than they need their fancy house and flash car.
