English heavyweight champion Tyson Fury vows to kill Dereck Chisora stone dead – Boxing news
The current English heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, has vowed he is going to kill Dereck Chisora stone dead on July 23, 2011.
Both pugilists, who have never been defeated, will take on each other in the ring at the Wembley Arena in July for the British and Commonwealth title fight.
The 23-year-old Tyson told the media he is putting a lot of efforts and is doing a lot of hard work ahead of his bout. He said he is doing things he has never done before and is fully confident.
“I've moved away from home and I'm staying in Luton on a travellers' site in a caravan. I'm putting myself in uncomfortable zones and doing everything I've never done before,” said Tyson.
He also commented on his fitness level and then vowed he is going to kill the current British heavyweight champion, Chisora, stone dead in the ring.
While speaking on his inclusion, he said, “The fitness has never been an issue. I've got a naturally good engine but my problem has been overtraining. My body shape is never going to be like David Haye's because it's very hard for someone who's 6ft 9in to
get like that. It's easier for smaller guys than it is for a big man, everyone knows that. As long as I'm fit and strong, it doesn't bother me what I look like. I'm in fantastic shape and my mind's set mentally - I'm going to kill him stone dead.”
The 6 ft, 9” Tyson stated that Chisora has a habit of moving in the ‘I am the greatest’ cap but there was only one greatest- Muhammad Ali.
However, the most flattering statement which came from Tyson was when he said that if the 27-year-old Del Boy, Chisora beats him, he will give him all the money from his purse and will kiss his feet.
Tyson, who has won all 14 of his fights with 10 knockouts, has really spiced up the things ahead of his clash. However let’s see if he can really see off Chisora, who has also never been defeated.
