Dear helpers, I am writing a letter to my cusomer in English and to ask for dividing the shipment into two dates. Please help me the grammar and sentences. I hope she can understand what i said. thanks

Dear customer/buyers

After some investigation and discussions with my engineers, I propose we should divide the shipment in May into two shipments into early May and early June in order to avoid some rushed schedule and uncertain quantity of new products. The excuses to explain this proposal is that it takes time (more than three months) to develop the products you request and the production line might be overload if we get everything done pushily by early May. I suggest we can develop the most urgent one you need by early May and finish rest of second urgent one by early June. Please let me know if you can accept my suggestion.

  1. (Date)

    Dear (Use your contact's name),

After some investigation and discussion with my engineers, I respectfully request that we be allowed to divide the shipment due in May into two shipments.  Due to uncertainty regarding the quantity of new products and to avoid producing poor quality by rushing our schedule, I would like to ship the first half early in May and ship the remaining product early in June.

The reason for this proposal is that it takes more than three months to properly develop the products you request.  By allowing us to develop the highest priority product first and shipping that in early May, and finishing the lower priority product to ship by early June, we will be able to deliver the products you need while maintaining the high quality you expect. Please let me know if you will be able to accept my proposal.

    Kindest Regards,

Use letterhead if you have it.  Things for you to add are in parentheses ().

    Good luck,

    Diane

  2. After some investigation and discussion with my engineers, I propose that we divide your May shipment into two parts – one shipping in early May and the other shipping in early June. That way, we can avoid a rushed schedule and uncertain quality of new products. We need to do this because it takes time (more than three months) to develop the products you request and the production line might be overloaded if we try to get everything done by early May. I suggest we send the products you need the most by early May and send the rest by early June. Please let me know if this proposal is acceptable to you.

  3. Dear Customer,

After reviewing and discussing your shipment with co-workers, a proposal arose in which it was found that it would be better to divide the one shipment, due to go out early May, into two shipments instead. The first shipment will go out in early May and the second would be sent in early June so as to avoid a rushed schedule and also avoid an uncertain quantity of new products. Reason being for this proposal is that the products you have requested are very time consuming to produce, approximating to about three months for your order. In addition it may cause the production line to overload if we push to get it all completed by early May. I would also suggest that we develop the most urgent order you have placed first. The next urgent order would be finished and sent out in early June. Please consider this proposal and let me know if you agree. Thank you for your business.

    Sincerely,

    Hank (last name)
