the first three are all words with the same spelling or pronunciation or both but have different meanings like to, two, and too

a compound sentence is basically two sentances joind together with a compoud word (and, or, but)

an example of a compund sentance could be

"I gave you some examples, AND you can go to wikipidia.com for more help."
