YUP! Almost every1 in dubai speaks english.. !

The official language in Dubai is of course Arabic, but english is widely spoken. Also all street signs are bilingual (arabic and english).

In general: at government places english is spoken very well, in stores which sell western products mostly also.

You might run into some problems language related if you visit small supermakerts or places where mostly non english speaking people go.

My husband was in the hospital and the nurse asked how he was doing. He said: Live sucks. What did the nurse (not fluent on arabic nor english ) do? She was searching for his SOCKS.

Yes, a whole lot of people talk english, but................that does not mean that you will understand their english:))
