  1. We go to school in september and have a week hol in october and then another one at xmas then back to school in january and a weeks holiday in feb and april and may then have a six weeks summer holiday from july to september and it starts all over again

I Dont Know Around a week

But we are quite big if your here

  2. Children are normally at school for 39 weeks of the year, and the school year generally lasts from early September through to mid July. Typical school holidays are 6 weeks in the summer (July-September), 2 weeks at Christmas, 2 weeks at Easter, and 1 week each in late October, mid-February, and late May (half term holidays).

No, the weather is not always rainy. I live in north-east England and I was basking in sunshine today.

The distance from Land's End at the south-western tip of England to Berwick-upon-Tweed in the north-east is 539 miles (867 km). It would take approximately nine and a half hours to drive this distance.

Once you pass Berwick-upon-Tweed, you enter Scotland (a different country), and you would need to drive a further 348 miles (561 km) to reach John O'Groats at the far north-eastern tip of Scotland. This would take around seven hours.

  3. england rules u h0. get used 2 it

  4. Children are off school at christmas and new year and easter and for about 6 weeks during the summer. Plus they have a couple of weeks off here and there at the end of terms.

It's not always rainy. we get all types of weather. At the moment it's warm and sunny.

Driving from the south coast to the scottish border takes me approx 6 hours.

  5. 1. not in the summer or at easter but at all other times except for half-term holidays

    2. no, only in wales

    3. it's 874 miles fromLand's End to John o' Groats, i don't drive so i have no idea how long it would take to do that

  6. i live in england...

i dont understand what you mean by do children go to school year round , well yeah but we get holidays LOL

a short summer holiday though its been reduced to 5 weeks. when america gets like 12 weeks....

we get a few half terms which are 1 week off and we get a christmas holiday and easter holiday and thats 2 weeks off.

on the contrare the weather is not always rainy!

this week has been delightful..very sunny (:

but it does rain quite a lot - but not so much anymore because of global warming.

not sure about the driving question but i know it takes about 7 - 8 hours to drive from london to scotland :]

    x

  7. We have 2 weeks off school at christmas, 6 weeks in the summer and lots of single weeks off at the end of school terms etc.

No, the weather isn't always rainy, it's been hot this week.

It takes about 9 hours to drive from the top of Scotland to the bottom of England.

  8. not all year, they have between 6 and 10 weeks off usually beginning the middle of july.

and various week and 2 week breaks at end of terms..I'd say about 6 hours top to bottom (england) and the weathers pretty rainy yes.

    lol.

    depending on the season ofcourse.

England is a good place though.

  9. England sucks, come to Scotland! =D

  10. school starts in september and ends mid june

also throughout the year there is half term, where we get one week off part way through term and there are also bank holidays and other inset days which the school decide on alos there is christmas and easter hols whihc is two weeks each

and obviously we are off weekends to

the weather is mostly rainy but this year it seems we are havin a good summer blue skies and sunshine :D

btw english people usually say it always rains even though its usually just cloudy

erm to drive straight thriough england id imagine it would take 9ish hours but it obviously depends on which route you take

  11. Children Go To School from September until the following June/July which is the end of the school year. they have the summer off, usually 3 weeks off over xmas and then again at easter, and about a week off in the middle of each of those things known as "Half Term Holiday"

The weather is not ALWAYS rainy, but the weather can be very unpredictable. in winter and spring it rains the most, summer is usually ok, but it still rains, its been very warm recently (not to the same temperatures of the US but still warm), but that doesn't mean that it won't pour with rain tommorrow, because you just never know.

to drive from John O'Groats (The furhtest point north in the UK in Scotland) To Lands End (The furthest South in the UK in Cornwall) would take about 16 hours, but why you would want to do that is another question, because the traffic here is really bad
