Hey guys!

ok, I have been riding for about for about 5 years ( on and off)

but not I really wanna start seriously riding again. I have always ridden Western (and showed western pleasure) but I really waanna jump. I can't decide weather I should stick with pleasure because I like that is is very relaxed, slow and controlled and i could advance faster because i would be building on what i already know. But on the other hand jumping looks so fun! and I have always wanted to jump. and english riders look so pretty on there horses and half chaps are cool lol. so should I try it or stick to western? I am 13 if that helps any.

( sorry for any spelling mistakes!)

  1. there is no reason that you cant do both, you can continue in Western pleasure while you learn English and jumping.  English it totally different than Western.  as you know in Western you sit everything but in English you "point" it is a lot to learn and retrain your body let alone having to retrain your horse.

    good luck
