Question:

English riding clothing?

I have been riding for about 5 years and I have a horse that can do everything and anything you ask her to do (which is totally awesome might I add :D). But, anyway, I started jumping last year with my friend, then we stopped, and started up again this year. We want to start showing english (but we mostly show western pleasure and contest) so we need some REALLY cheap english clothes that we can just use for showing. I mean english pants, shirts, jackets, boots, gloves, etc... I looked all over the internet but I just can't find anything. Does anyone know any websites that sell cheap english clothes?

  1. Try eBay!

  2. If you want really cheap stuff, E-bay is the way to go. YOu can get lightly used or overstocked items this way.

Also try www.tackoftheday.com although they only have one item per day, its very discounted.

  3. dover.state line tack

  4. well anything in the horse business isnt exactly "cheap" you will always be paying a high price for something. Theres cheaper, but not necessarily, cheap, unless its not good quality. I wouldnt recommend Dover Saddlery unless you want to pay a pretty penny. Guarenteed they have the best of the best in equipment and clothing, and great customer service, plus their catalogs are 300pgs+ of great quality stuff but they are the most expensive. I would suggest stateline tack. They are fairly cheap and have some good quality stuff.

    www.statelinetack.com

  5. GOOGLE horseloverz.com and click on it

    Really cheap!

Also try the Maryland Saddlery consignment shop

  6. depends where you live im in massachussets and im selling tall boots that are a size 8 and a size 7 for 80 each pair. thats very cheap for tall boots!!

  7. www.horselovers.com

they have the cheapest clothing i think

    and they always have sales

  8. i got to e-bay for almost all of my show clothes shopping its alot cheaper but has the same quality as the more expensive items

  9. Statelinetack.com usually has some pretty good deals.  Dover is always having sales and I think they have some boots for 70 or 80 right now...Warning about dover: They don't update their website very often so their deals don't show.  If you want the current prices, you will have to get a catalog.  Chicks saddlery is very cheap, but I am not sure about their quality...But if this is not going to be a major show, you should be fine.  Also try millers..they have nice things for good prices

  10. all english clothes are expensive, but the cheapest is state line tack. the devon aire line is cheap, but it falls apart quickly.

  11. I'm not sure about websites, but check out english barns in your area. Most stables have riders that have outgrown their riding gear and are selling it cheap. Also, check out your locak tack shop. Some riders take their gear there to be sold second-hand.
