English second row forwards player Nick Kennedy is set to make 200th appearance – Rugby News
Southampton born, English international professional Rugby Union player, Nick Kennedy, is all set to make his 200th appearance for the Surrey based Aviva premiership side, London
Irish. The club has announced their squad for the upcoming encounter against Bath Rugby, which includes Nick Kennedy.
Kennedy will lead the team on the field his side to their crunch game against Bath Rugby at Madejski Stadium on Saturday, October 29. Over the years, Kennedy has represented London Irish in
different domestic and European competitions.
The 30-year-old Kennedy made his Rugby Football Union’s (RFU) top level Rugby Union premiership debut against the Newcastle Falcons on November 3rd, 2002.  Since then, he has made145
Aviva Premiership appearances for the Exiles and has twenty points to this name. He scored these twenty points through his four tries. He first registered point to his name during in Aviva Premiership competition during 2008-09 season. He finished the season
with two tries. His other two tries came during the 2009-10 and 2011-12 season.
Besides this, Kennedy has represented England in different levels. He made his England Saxons debut during 2006 Churchill Cup. He also participated in the 2007 Churchill Cup and was also called
into the Saxons squad as replacement for their 2008 Churchill Cup encounter against the Ireland-A team.
Kennedy earned a selection in the England’s international squad in 2008.  He made his international debut against the Pacific Islanders with a magnificent try.
Kennedy, nicknamed Kendo, has never left the Exiles in his career. He holds the reputation of the one of club’s finest second row forwards. 
Apart from this, Exiles head coach, Toby Booth, has announced a strong squad for their weekend encounter. The match day squad contains 10 international players. He has made five changes in
the squad, as compare to the squad, which took the field in their last weekend match against Newcastle Falcons.
The changes includes the return of the duo of Tom Homer and Topsy Ojo at winger positions. Additionally in backs pack, Dan Bowden will join the scrum half Darren Allinson to form the half backs
pair.  Besides this, former Falcons’ player, Shontayne Hape is named as the number 12 position for the match.
