  1. because english is better than french and french is SK back to your Quebec

  2. I am and i have been in french immersion  since I was in grade 1 and I am in grade 11 now! I have also been quebec twice

  3. I speak French semi-fluently as I live in Ottawa, Canadas capital and we are just one footbridge away from Hull, which is part of Quebec but if the Quebecois speak with their broad dialect, I understand nothing at all. If I go to Paris, Europe, I understand almost everything. It depends how the people speak. If they make an effort and speak slowly enough and without a dialect then I can understand their French but if the Quebecois want.. and really talk to each other I could stand right next to them and they could make jokes about me and I wouldn't have a clue. They could say the meanest or funniest things about me, smile nicely at me and fool that I am would believe they are saying something complimentary.. Quebecois is a language different from the normal French... Je ne comprends rien....parfois, alors, je m'en fiche!

Only saying sometimes i understand nothing and I don't care...

  4. I'm actually really interested in learning French. I think it's such a cool and romantic language and I know that learning another language would definitely help me in the future.

Surprisingly, I'm probably one of the few students that actually take French past grade 9. In Ontario, after grade 9 french isn't mandatory, and I think it should be because French is an official language, and just as important as English.
